What the role involves
- Build the vision and brand message for the practice, and deliver outstanding customer service experiences
- Lead a dedicated team with the day to day running and management of the practice, both clinical and non clinical
- Achieve key deliverables including business growth targets, managing budgets (including profit and loss) and all operational aspects
- Excellent working relationships with clinicians, Dentex support centre and suppliers.
- Recruitment, onboarding and people management of practice staff such as identifying staff development and training needs
- Regular team meetings and staff performance reviews
- Provide support and direction to enhance performance, skills, and knowledge of practice staff
- Maintenance and marketing of the practice within set budgets
- Day to day management of CQC activities
- Competent in health and safety management, and dental compliance
- Ad hoc receptionist and nursing duties if GDC registered
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested

Making an effortless and smooth transition in early 2022 Robinsons Dental became part of the Dentex Community. Robinson Dental is a relaxed and very stylish practice based in Christchurch town center.
Robinsons provide a range of private dental treatments ranging from general dental care, placing and restoring dental implants and a visiting Dermatologist providing minor surgery. The team consists of 5 clinicians, 2 receptionists and a passionate team of part time trainee and qualified dental nurses.
As practice Manager you will be responsible for the day to day fluent running of the practice with the support of Dentex. You will need to maintain welcoming manner and be approachable to all staff members, be able to work efficiently through any challenges that may arise and meet deadline requirements. A Dental background would be preferable but not essential to the role.
