Practice Manager – Harley Street Full Time

The Role

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and experienced cosmetic Clinic Lead with a desire to advance their career rapidly. This is a unique opportunity to join and work within a fast-growing entrepreneurial Dental company.

Working for our London practice with responsibility for our Manchester location also.

Key Responsibilities

• To take responsibility and manage all aspects of the daily operation of selected clinic sites
• Ensure patient services are maintained at the highest standards
• Ensure strict compliance with CQC policies and processes
• Manage administrative and clinical staff
• Manage business departments profitably by monitoring progress, & ensuring that appropriate action is taken to improve performance
• To tightly manage clinic costs, & taking action to reduce costs.
• Ensure financial checks of payments and invoices performed on a daily basis
• To work to increase revenue and margins generated by clinicians, and provide support where necessary.
• To develop and improve clinic processes, standard operating procedures and manuals, & checklists and initiate monthly reviews, and business development plans for the practice.
• To market practice services locally to potential patients, utilising the approved budget
• To take responsibility for the delivery of clinic targets (rota, diary utilisation, operating costs, stock and sales)
• To act as super-user of all our IT systems
• To help recruit new staff and clinicians as required and oversee their induction
• To manage all direct reports and assist with the management of those reporting to them
• To support, coach, develop and motivate all direct reports and provide a forum for employee feedback
• To carry out such additional duties or operational project work as may be reasonably required

Candidate Profile

• Background in Dental Healthcare required
• Minimum 6 years’+ relevant experience
• Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams (disciplinary / grievance, legal compliance, appraisals, training etc)
• Has had direct responsibility for the profitability of their area
• Responsible for Customer & Supplier liaison and is comfortable and confident in acting as an ambassador of the Company
• Competent hands on user of IT systems & MS office (Word and XL)
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills combined with thoroughness and very strong attention to detail
• Numerate and comfortable working with spreadsheets
• Confident with financial processes such as managing cash balances, reconciliation of receipts and invoices
• Motivation to work within a high-growth company
• Flexible nature with a can-do attitude
• Ability to improve and implement new ideas and processes to improve operations
