Associate Dentist – Devon (NHS) Part Time

Avenue Dental Surgery is a small and friendly practice offering an extensive range of dental treatment, including general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry (bio clear). Located close to Torquay town centre with off road parking available, it is a rapidly advancing practice with an established patient list that has built an incredibly strong reputation in the local area. We now have a unique and exciting opportunity for an Associate Dentist to join the team three days per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesdays also available.

Job Responsibilities

• You will be an accomplished clinician with experience across the full range of dentistry
• Preventative and general dentistry
• Highest standards of patient and clinical care
• Developing and growing a loyal and established patient list
• Target of up to 5000 UDAs
• Private work available
• Four surgery practice consisting of four Dentists, six Nurses and a Hygienist
• Support of an experienced and qualified team, and exceptional dental nurses
• Flexibility required to accommodate new ways of working under Covid-19 conditions

Qualifications / Skills

• Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC
• NHS performer number
• Knowledge of CQC and compliance
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
• Strong teamwork ability with an enthusiastic attitude
• Experience of dental platform ‘Software of Excellence’ ideal
