We are looking for a confident and motivated dentist to join our clinical team at our practice in Northamptonshire. It would suit someone finishing foundation training or up to 3 years post qualification who wants to really develop their clinical skills seeing NHS patients and providing private work to these patients. In time they will also be able to see new and existing private and denplan membership patients.
We are a well-established independent practice that provides a full range of clinical care and services including private and Denplan membership along with a small NHS contract. We have a team of dentists, dental therapist, practice manager and a combination of qualified and trainee dental nurses. The principal works at the practice 3 days a week and has been a foundation trainer for 15 years. We have a breath of experience among the dentists and expertise in a variety of areas.

The practice has recently had a significant refurbishment and the majority of surgeries are new and have intra oral cameras and an intra oral scanner. All surgeries have their own xray and air conditioned.
We are looking for someone who wants to develop as a general dental practitioner (mentoring and guidance is provided by the principal and the wider team). The candidate must have a good standard of basic restorative care and want to grow their experience and skill. They must have a medium-term vision to develop lasting relationships with patients and make new connections. A portfolio of cases or photographs to show your work is desirable but not essential.
The candidate will be responsible for looking after NHS patients but with great potential for private growth in an affluent area where patients are very frequently looking for ways to improve their smile. The role is for 4-5 days a week to look after a stable list of patients. There is lots of support within the team with a foundation dentist trainer, several experienced colleagues with many years clinical and mentorship experience in composite bonding, ortho, implants and periodontal expertise.
