Associate Dentist – Full Or Part Time – Sunderland Full Time|Part Time

The position of Associate Dentist has become available through established dentists deciding to shift their focus and build up Private dentistry from their patient base and reducing the amount of NHS UDAs they wish to commit to, as part of this some patients will be transferred over. We are an ambitions team and are looking for a suitable candidate that shares our goals, vision and commitment to patients’ oral health.

The successful candidate will be working in a busy NHS and Private dental practice and comfortable with both NHS and Private dentistry. They will need to excel and take complete ownership of the main roles of the position, and be able to work independently whilst reporting back to the Principal periodically.

• Associate will be using Brand New Surgery Fitted Out 2020

The Position Available

• We have available up to 4500 UDAs in the first year, this will likely increase in year 2 as the practice expands. There is scope for some flexibility depending on the right dentist and what would suit them initially.
• Flexibility on sessions/days based around the dentist and the practice open hours (we have plenty of surgeries and capacity in various sessions).
  Established NHS patient list.
• Busy multi surgery practice with potential to boost income with FD income and further specialised private work in the future.
• Potential to grow books both NHS and Private
• Working alongside TCO and therapists

Package

• Competitive UDA rate £11-12
• 50% Private income (minus labs)

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Candidate must be comfortable and efficient in delivering NHS UDAs
• Should be good at building raport with patients and offering private dentistry options in a relaxed manner. We have an excellent private dentistry reputation based on patient and dentist relationships, it is a softly softly approach rather than a hard sell.
• GDC Registration and Performer Required
• All levels of experience considered

An enhanced CRB check will be required for successful candidate
ONLY GDC REGISTERED QUALIFIED DENTISTS SHOULD APPLY, THOSE CURRENTLY IN FD TRAINING YEAR WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED
