Role Overview: As a Lead Dental Nurse, you will:

• Oversee infection control within the practice.
• Assist and train trainee nurses.
• Manage stock control and ordering.
• Conduct infection control audits.

Job Description:

• Interact with service users and staff to maintain high standards and practice ethos.
• Lead and assist the clinical team in providing outstanding patient care.
• Follow and enforce practice decontamination and infection control policies.
• Participate in practice meetings and contribute to improving the patient journey.
• Adhere to confidentiality and GDPR guidelines.
• Supervise a team of Registered Dental Nurses, including allocation of work and supervision sessions
• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day matters of Dental Nurses to ensure the smooth running of the services.
• Assist clinicians with the delivery of patient care.
• Implement and manage clinical governance arrangements for the practice.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 5:15 pm.

Pay:

• Negotiable, depending on experience.

Start date: 02.01.2025
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,282.00-£31,000.00 per year
