Dental Nurse – Maternity Cover, Interim Full Time Permanent Temporary

Due to one of our team going on maternity leave Heath Dental in Solihull are looking for an experienced full time Dental Nurse for 12 months.  This is a great opportunity to work in our friendly professional practice.  You will be a confident dental nursing professional and be very comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life – dentists, patients and your practice team. The role is varied and interesting, balancing the overall needs of the practice, dentists, to ensure they can put the patient first. You will very much work in partnership with the dentists adding value to the patient journey from the minute they enter the practice. The practice is committed to offering the full range of dental treatment from routine general dentistry through to complex cosmetic cases, orthodontics, and implants. We use digital x-ray software and are fully equipped with a CBCT scanner.

Duties will include the below:

Competent in Dental Software of Excellence (SOE) as well as Microsoft Office
Surgery and instrument preparation for dental procedures
Collecting patients for treatment
Updating and maintaining patient records
Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
Maintaining good cross infection control
Receptionist cover including arranging and updating patient appointments via the telephone and face to face
