What the role involves
- Lead a dedicated team with the day to day running and management of the practice, both clinical and non clinical
- Excellent working relationships with clinicians, Dentex support centre, suppliers, and NHS.
- Continue the ethos of the practice, and deliver outstanding customer service experiences
- Achieve key deliverables including business growth targets, managing budgets (including profit and loss) and all operational aspects
- Recruitment, onboarding and people management of practice staff such as identifying staff development and training needs
- Regular team meetings and staff performance reviews
- Provide support and direction to enhance performance, skills, and knowledge of practice staff
- Maintenance and marketing of the practice within set budgets
- Competent in health and safety management, and dental compliance
- Ad hoc receptionist and nursing duties, GDC registered
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested

- GDC registered preferable but not essential
- Excellent knowledge of compliance (support and training provided)
- Proficient user of the requisite dental software and Microsoft package

Orchard Park has been established for over 25 years, and our practice has been bustling since day one. Our seven-surgery practice has built up quite a reputation over the years, with new patients turning into long-term patients all the time.
The practice is a mixed NHS/ Private offering a wide range of services including implants.
The practice has a strong patient focused team with many friendly and approachable long standing clinicians and nurses.
