Dental Practice Manager – Manchester Full Time

Smile Stylist are Manchester’s top Invisalign private practice treating more than 3,000 patients each year.  An Invisalign Diamond provider we complete hundreds of Invisalign and cosmetic smile makeovers every year.  We have an amazing career opportunity for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our growing team.  Established in 2012 and following an amazing 8 years in House of Fraser, we have recently opened our new state of the art clinic on King Street in the heart of Manchester.

This is a fabulous opportunity to lead our fully private, state of the art, modern dental practice as we continually grow and evolve.  The role is a permanent position working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday per month, paying up to £35,000 (plus generous bonus scheme) with some flexibility for the right candidate.

As the Practice Manager you will be responsible for driving performance by delivering objectives relating to marketing, revenue targets, KPIs and cost management.  You will recruit, retain and directly manage a team of professional clinicians, nurses, receptionists and support staff. You will also be responsible for marketing, audit and financial processes, which must be completed to CQC standards.  You will enjoy considerable responsibility and autonomy yet receive support from senior dentists and management.

You will have, motivation and drive to make the role your own and successful.  You will have first class interpersonal skills to manage key relationships.  Organisation skills including prioritising important deadlines whilst managing reactive business needs are also a must.  You will have strong commercial awareness/business acumen coupled with experience of budgeting, analysing financial data including profit and loss accounts to make problem solving commercial decisions relating to the practice. Above all you will be patient orientated, self-motivated and an inspirational team leader.  You will have good people management experience including conducting one-to-ones, performance reviews and managing staff development.

You will ideally have a number of years experience of working within a dental environment as a Practice Manager and hold a valid DBS.
