As Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing our key accounts, building and maintaining a long-term relationship, and maximising revenue opportunities with them. You will be their main point of contact for day to day operational delivery and will seek to inspire and encourage continued growth.
You will report to the Operations Director, and alongside your team members, will manage up to 100 accounts. You will play a pivotal role, linking the customer and the various internal teams, and will need to act as a liaison for questions, feedback and other operational tasks.
The role is predominantly home based, but you will be expected to work in our Birmingham HQ a minimum of one day per week. You may be required to travel to your customers, attend meetings or training sessions as needed, and occasionally you may be required to work an evening or weekend for events or trade shows.Time will be given in lieu for this.
The role is varied and will include but not be limited to:
Responsibility for the effective on-boarding and management of new customers.
Focus on growing and developing existing customers to achieve long term success.
Devising business plans and assisting / advising customers to write their own detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals/targets.
Working to monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) set by the Operations Director and CEO.
Assessing sales performance according to KPI’s and reporting on a weekly/monthly basis to the Operations Director.
Acting as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions of the internal team.
Conducting Business Reviews to ensure customer satisfaction.
Escalating and helping to resolve areas of concern as raised by customers.
Entering all required data onto the company Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
Building strong relationships with partners and suppliers.
Participating in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.
Conducting training in sales techniques, marketing and business management within the accounts
You will work largely independently and will be given autonomy to shape the role accordingly. Working alongside a highly experienced team with big ambitions, this role provides an opportunity to grow quickly and be part of a forward thinking, entrepreneurial business.
Experience in Sales, customer support or the Dental Industry are preferable but not essential
