We are looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse with excellent communication skills to support our Clinicians with explaining dental treatment plans to patients, addressing any patient questions, scheduling appointments and arranging payment plans.
The practice is a busy modern practice based in Great Barr Birmingham B44 8TB fully computerised with R4 plus clinical Software and digital x-ray. Providing dental care as well as Dental Implants, Invisalign and various cosmetic treatments.
Key responsibilities:
- The role involves building relationships with patients as you guide them through the possible treatment journeys available to them, with the ultimate aim of securing the patient to the practice and will include assisting the dentist.
- Flexibility in the role is fundamental and the successful candidate must be happy to accept that the role will comprise such a mixture of both clinical and reception work.
- Being one of the first people potential patients will meet at the practice, we are looking for a confident and presentable individual who is friendly, empathetic, and great at building rapport.
- A good track record in healthcare sales, with proven experience in meeting and exceeding targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Qualifications / Skills
- Register annually with the GDC
- Keep up to date with CPD and keep records accordingly
- Ensure that the patient is always kept at ease
- Ability to remain calm always, and manage potentially challenging situations confidently
- Be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE, COSHH, mercury handling, infection control, waste disposal etc
- Treatment Co-ordinator experience previously
- Invisalign experience an advantage.
- Great computer skills and multi-tasking are essential, as you will be working in a near-to-paperless company where you will need to be able to accurately create patient documents reports and excel sheets
The role will be 5 days per week between Monday to Friday, hours are 09.00 – 5:30pm, Saturday as per rota 09.00- 1.00pm
