What we need from you
- Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC
- Comply with the ‘Code of Ethics’ of the British Association of Dental Nurses
- Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines
- Knowledge of CQC and compliance
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and welcoming manner
- Strong teamwork ability with an enthusiastic attitude
- Proficient user of the requisite dental software and Microsoft package
- Vaccinated against Hepatitis B and Covid-19

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Part Time Dental Nurse to join our well established dental practice at Burgess-Hyder Stanhope.
Based in the heart of the community within the Medical Centre, in the lovely market town of Stanhope. Our practice was established in 2006 to provide high quality NHS, Independent and Denplan dental care. We have one treatment room and a team which comprises of 2 dentists, 1 dental therapist, 1 dental hygienist, 1 nurse, 1 receptionist and a practice manager.

- GDC Registration

Duties Include:
- Providing chair side support to the Dentist and/or Therapist
- Ensuring the Health & Safety & Well-being of the patient at all times
- Providing excellent patient care
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and Cross Infection Control
- Decontamination of instruments and equipment
- Prepare equipment, materials, lab work and patients with efficiency and empathy
- Ensuring CQC requirements are met
- Maintaining a polite, empathetic and professional manner at all times
- Reception duties as required
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested
