We are looking to hire a part-time Receptionist/Dental Nurse to join our team. We are a busy NHS/Private Dental practice, fully computerised using SOE and digital x-rays. Our surgeries are air conditioned and modern.
The Role
The role will be predominantly that of receptionist with the occasional nursing duties.
You will need excellent customer service skills to help our patients feel at home and assist with general enquiries in person and over the phone.
A dental nurse in training may be accepted for this position if they meet certain requirements.
Receptionist role and responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
- Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Making patients aware of dental services and offers
- Handling payments
- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
Dental Nurse responsibilities and Duties
- Assisting dentists during procedures
- Taking and processing X-rays of patients
- Prepare equipment, materials, lab work and patients with efficiency and empathy
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
The ideal candidate:
- GDC registered preferred
- Working knowledge of SOE Exact
- Hep B immunity
- Good communication skills
- Hard working
- Well organised
- Punctual
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
