Skills and Attributes:- We now seek a Senior Dental Nurse who will support our Practice Manager and existing nursing team. This will include leading our infection control procedures in line with HTM0105, assisting the practice manager with all CQC requirements, supervising the nursing team, supporting treatment co-ordination and fron of house when required. It is vital the appointed person will have superb organisation skills, sound clinical knowledge, great energey and a passion for extreme patient care.

The Role

. Full time position / part time considered

. Leading in Infection control procedures in line with HTM0105

.Managing all aspects of clinical CQC requirements

. Maintenance of treatment room equipment

. Stock control

. Supervising the nursing team

. Training the nursing team as and when required

. Supporting TCO and Front of House when required

• Assisting the dentist chair side
• Re-stocking the surgery
• Preparing materials for appointments
• Carrying out decontamination duties
• Operating the suction
• Processing x-rays
• Reception duties
• Perform all duties in line with the Code of Ethics outlined by the Association of Dental Nurses and the GDC
• To work on establishing productive working relationships with all members of the dental team

Required Skills

• GDC Registered Nurse

. Supervisory experience

. Radiology trained

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Must be a team player
• Must be honest, reliable, punctual, with an open and welcoming manner, willing to go the extra mile
• Must be computer literate

Systems For Dentists experience is desirable

• Highly organized

Working Hours:- 37.5 hrs per week

SALARY: Up to  £27,000 depending on experience
