Edinburgh Gums and Teeth are a family owned private dental practice located in Edinburgh City Centre offering a wide range of services to our patients including Invisalign (part of MiSmile Network) , dental implants, advanced restorative treatments and medical aesthetic treatments.
We are centrally located with easy public transport access. Due to practice expansion we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and highly organised individual to join our friendly team as Practice Manager. We have great plans to grow further, so are looking to recruit an ambitious person to share in our future success. You will ideally have previous experience in dental practice management.
We’re looking for a proactive manager to lead our team of professional clinicians, nurses, receptionists and support staff. You will also be responsible for marketing, audit and financial processes, which must be completed to HIS standards. You must have full working knowledge of NHS/HIS, GDC, clinical governance, compliance and guidelines. You’ll proactively deliver the HR agenda and team management, ensuring staff comply with policies and procedures.
You must ensure the clinics appearance is kept to a high standard, recruit, develop and motivate the team using effective management skills. As the Practice Manager you will be responsible for driving performance by delivering objectives relating to marketing, revenue targets, KPIs and cost management.
The successful candidate will have a dental background, be a strong leader with the ability to inspire others, have ability to work in a fast-paced demanding dental environment and have an enthusiastic flexible attitude.
