A fabulous independently owned, fully private, 3 surgery, modern, computerised dental practice based in the Macclesfield area, Cheshire is looking to recruit a Practice Manager. This is an exciting time to join the team as they enter into a period expansion through new investment. The role is a permanent position working 4 days a week, 35 hours (4 days between Monday to Friday) paying up to 30,000 with parking available ! They are ideally looking for the successful candidate to start December 2020 / January 2021. As the Practice Manager you will be responsible for driving performance by delivering objectives relating to marketing, revenue targets, KPIs and cost management.
You will recruit, retain and directly manage a team of professional clinicians, nurses, receptionists and support staff. You will also be responsible for marketing, audit and financial processes, which must be completed to CQC standards. You will enjoy considerable responsibility and autonomy yet receive support from senior dentists.
You will have, motivation and drive to make the role your own and successful. You will have first class interpersonal skills to manage key relationships. Organisation skills including prioritising important deadlines whilst managing reactive business needs are also a must. You will have strong commercial awareness/business acumen coupled with experience of budgeting, analysing financial data including profit and loss accounts to make problem solving commercial decisions relating to the practice. Above all you will be patient orientated, self-motivated and an inspirational team leader. You will have good people management experience including conducting one-to-ones, performance reviews and managing staff development.
Ideally you will have a number of years experience of working within a dental environment as a Practice Manager and hold a valid DBS.
